Curonian Spit

The Curonian Spit is a sandy peninsula about 98 km long, separating the Curonian Lagoon from the Baltic Sea. It is shared by Lithuania and Russia and is listed by UNESCO as a cultural landscape.

The Lithuanian part is home to a national park with dunes, forests and coastal settlements. Before visiting natural sites, check current rules, route access and seasonal restrictions on the official national park website.
