The Baltic Seaside is very popular among tourists. The climate is not very hot and the temperature of the water in the Baltic Sea is seldom higher than 20 °C, so more and more tourists come to the Baltic Seaside every year because of the high quality service, clean environment and the beauty of the Lithuanian resorts. The dunes, the pine trees, the amber and the legends of these beautiful things have become the visit cards of Lithuania.
The main resorts of the Lithuanian seaside are Palanga, Klaipeda and Neringa. Palanga is a respectable place with lots of comfortable hotels, restaurants and night clubs. Neringa consists of some small and cozy villages and is a national park, a place for holidaymakers who like calm and picturesque nature and families with small children. Klaipeda is not only a nice resort with wonderful beaches; it is also rich in sights. The most interesting of them are the Marine Museum of Lithuania and the Aquarium.
Transport service in Lithuania is comfortable and convenient. You may get there by sea, by air and by train. But Neringa is the exception because it is a national park and you may get there only by ferry, but it adds the charm and fascination to the tour. There is an international airport in Palanga where arrive flights from Moscow, Berlin, Frankfurt and Oslo. You may come to Palanga by coach. If you want to visit Klaipeda you can get there by train and by sea (by ferry from Travemunde, Aarhus, Kiel and other towns).
