Neringa is the city situated on the Curonian Spit of the Baltic seaside. It is one of the most beautiful places in Lithuania. It was founded in 1961. It consists of four settlements: Juodkrante, Pervalka, Preila and Nida. They were united into one administrative area. The city stretches along the sea. The Curonian Spit beaches are the best on the Baltic coast of Lithuania. The strip of clear sand between the sea and dunes stretches along the whole coast of Neringa. It is here where situated the best and most well-known resorts of the country – Nida and Juodkrante. And the best hotels of Neringa are situated right in these settlements.
