Kačerginė: Hotels and accommodations

The 6 km Šaltinių Trail leads through the forest of Kačerginė. It passes through forest habitats and by animal shelters and includes four viewpoints overlooking the Nemunas and Pypliai hillfort. The trail is marked with directional signs; parking spaces and an information board are available nearby.

Jonas Biliūnas lived in Kačerginė in 1906 and wrote several works there, including “Abejojimas”, “Brisiaus galas” and “Vieną rudenio dieną”.

A park in Kačerginė has benches carved with lines by the poet from “Aukojau žemei”; the “Poezijos žydėjimas” poetry festival is held there every year.
