History

The memorial site of the partisan bunker and death site of the Milžino unit includes the reconstructed monument “Sušaudyta Lietuva”. At the memorial site, visitors can view the recently reconstructed partisan shelter of the Milžino unit.

Ten partisans died in the vicinity of Viršurodukis. A Šturmo partisan bunker was also built in the vicinity of Viršurodukis.

Cycling Route

Viršurodukis is part of the “Puvočiai–Dubininkas–Viršurodukis–Roduka–Kasčiūnai–Glyno ež.–Mardasavas–Puvočiai” cycling route. In addition to Viršurodukis, the route includes a partisan command post as a point of interest.
