The Pamusiai barrow cemetery is located approximately 0.2 km west of Pamusiai on the Jurgionys–Babriškės road. Covering 4 hectares, it comprises more than 100 burial mounds and is considered the largest and well-researched burial monument in this area. Cremation burials dating from the 8th to the 10th century have been found in the Pamusiai barrow cemetery.

The 40 km section of the Varėnos Didziulio cycle route from Varėna to Daugai runs through the surroundings of Pamusiai, Vaikantonys and Kančėnai. The Varėnos Didziulio cycle route connects Varėna and Daugai. It takes approximately two to three days to complete the entire route.

The Pamusių miškas forest can be reached from Pamusiai via a forest road that branches off from the Alytus–Vilnius road in the village. The Pamusio rest area is located in the vicinity of the Pamusių miškas forest. The Pamusis rest area is located 150 m past the “Pamusių miškas” sign.

Waterways

The kayaking route on the Varėnė can begin in Pamusiai. The Varėnė water route passes by Pamusių miškas and Pamusiai. After the section starting from Pamusiai, the Varėnė flows through a marshy valley overgrown with tall reeds.
