Art and architecture

New works are installed in Dusetų skulptūrų parkas during the annual gathering of people from the region. They are created as part of projects organised by Dusetų dailės galerija. The recreation area is on the shore of Lake Sartai in Dusetos. Its amenities include gazebos, paths and swings, as well as an information board, a small bridge and a pier. You can therefore explore the area through both the art in the park and its various lakeside facilities.

An interactive activity at the visitor centre

At the Sartai Regional Park Visitor Centre, you can generate electricity using a bicycle-powered generator. You can then use it to light a model of Lake Sartai displayed on a table. Your movement has a visible effect here: the lake model lights up using the electricity you generate. This gives you a different experience of Lake Sartai at the visitor centre than by the shore.

The activities also differ in timing: the gathering in the sculpture park takes place annually, while the generator activity is a permanent exhibit. If you are particularly interested in the new works, take the date of the gathering into account. You can choose between art, architecture, the lakeside area and the interactive activity—all are clearly defined themes.
