Geographical setting

Juodkrantė is located approximately in the middle of the Lithuanian side of the Curonian Spit on regional road KK 167 between Klaipėda and Zelenogradsk. Culture

Since 1979, numerous wooden sculptures depicting Lithuanian fairy tales have stood on Raganų Kalnas, also known as Witch Mountain. Juodkrantė's attractions include a sculpture park on the Curonian Lagoon, a renovated Evangelical church, a cemetery, heritage-listed residential buildings and traditional wooden villas.
