Tytuvėnai Regional Park also preserves a characteristic hilly, wooded and marshy landscape, which can be found in the historic small towns of Šiluva and Tytuvėnai.

The “Iš gervės skrydžio” exhibition at the Tytuvėnai Regional Park visitor centre features a film about cranes, a crane’s nest, a beaver lodge, bird calls and various objects from the depths of Lakes Gilius and Bridvaišis, which can be seen or heard.

The “Miško karalystė” programme explores the forest ecosystem, historical and continuing activities in the forest, mythical creatures, various birds, and the use and edibility of forest products.

The Tytuvėnai Forest Museum displays collections of garden and forest birds as well as forest animals, the diversity of local insects, and woodwork by local folk artists.

The former monastery premises house the “Piligrimų centas”. It contains a museum and tourist information centre; educational programmes are also organised there.
