Within the framework of the project “Vilnius – the Cultural capital of Europe” 11 exhibitions in Vilnius it will be organized representing 11 Cultural capitals of Europe, including not only the former capitals, but also the coming ones. Exhibitions will be held in the Vartai gallery (Vilnyaus street, 39). The gallery will be opened since Tuesday till Friday from 12.00 till 18.00, and on Saturdays from 12.00 till 18.00. In 2009 the below-mentioned exhibitions of following cities in the Vartai gallery will be held:

20.02 - 18.03 the Cultural capital of the Europe 2011 (Tallinn)
24.03 - 17.04 the Cultural capital of the Europe 2009 (Linz)
28.04 - 22.05 the Cultural capital of the Europe 2001 (Rotterdam)
02.06 - 26.06 the Cultural capital of the Europe 2010 (Essen)
07.07 - 31.07 the Cultural capital of the Europe 2008 (Liverpool)
06.08 - 02.09 the Cultural capital of the Europe 2001 (Porto Novo)
08.09 - 02.10 the Cultural capital of the Europe 2000 (Santiago de Compostela)
08.10 - 06.11 the Cultural capital of the Europe 2010 (Pech)
17.11 - 16.12 the Cultural capital of the Europe 2002 (Brugge)
