Lithuania has been accepted to the International Cheese-makers’ Federation

The Lithuanian cheese has officially recognized all over the world. International Cheese-makers’ Federation has decided to accept Lithuania as its participant. The number of the Federation participants since this moment counts 55 countries. Lithuania is well-known as the country with centuries-old traditions of cheeses manufacturing. The Lithuanian cheeses are exported worldwide. Among the countries buying the Lithuanian cheese factories production are Germany, the USA, Canada. Lithuania has joined the International Cheese-makers’ Federation simultaneously with one more worldwide known dairy products supplier, Brazil.

At the acceptance ceremony the Lithuanian representatives have emphasized, that membership in Federation promises to be exclusively useful for Lithuanian cheese-making industries development. The experience exchange with world cheese-makers will allow to improve quality of production and to promote the development of new receipts. In his turn, Christian Robert, the managing director of the International Cheese-makers’ Federation, has emphasized, that Lithuania took active participation even before its official membership, and now the Federation has unequivocally won from participation in its activity of such in dairy production manufacturing skilled region.
